in Umbria,
in the Sibillini Mountains National Park.
If you love mountain bike riding and wild nature, you would surely like biking through the Sibillini Mountains National Park between Umbria and Marche. It's now possible to do that, thanks to the passionate guide of Beppetreking's friends, and to the hospitality of the Farm Center Collaccio, that organizes great weekends of biking, food and culture. Besides biking through woods and valleys, you will visit forgotten churches and cross the lunar and disquieting Castelluccio tableland. Then in the evening you'll have a swim in our splendid swimming pool and taste the traditional Umbrian food and excellent wines.
There are two different kinds of weekends. The "Classic Weekend" (more quiet) and the "Expert Weekend" (this is pretty tough and is reserved for our trained guests).

CLASSIC WEEKEND

Arrival to Collaccio
in late afternoon.Welcome toast, dinner and presentation to the guides
and briefings about the routes. Then you can go to bed in your tent, camper or in the comfortable Collaccio's bungalows or in the romantic just rebuilt Locanda del Porcellino (The Pig's Inn). |

Pian Grande RingBreakfast and transfer by bus or
private car to Castelluccio di Norcio. |

Sunday
|
Valcastoriana Ring: Breakfast and departure by bus for Valcastoriana: Colaccio-Abbazia di S. Eutizio-San Salvatore-Forcia di Ancarano-Abete-Collaccio (about 36 kilometers lasting about 5 Hours - body build medium). In the afternoon return to Collaccio, then after a pleasant toast, a goodbye and everyone goes home. |

Saturday

From Castelluccio to Collaccio: It's a demanding ride, but a real
joy for true bikers. From the wonders of the Pian Grande, you'll
join the Collaccio, crossing exciting paths and tracks. After
a few hours of sweat and unique landscape along with some quarreling
with a few shepherd dogs that live here, you will transfer by
minibus to the Pian Grande. There will be six or seven hours of
walking with packed lunches and a Bicitrekking guide who loves
to tell jokes and recall legends. |

|
Santa Scolastica Ring: Thirty "restful" kilometers to discover the wonders
of the fortified city, the water meadows, the square with their
little crossing paths, and the "Madonna delle Neve" (Snow Virgin). |
