The Sibillini Mountains National Park sits on a hilly
chain in the heart of Italy and reaches a height of 2,476 meters at
the Vettore Mount summit.
This is a land where fascination, nature, history and local culture
have contributed to create an unique and unrepeatable reality. It is
here that in 1988 the Sibillini Mountain National Park was born.
Its aim was to protect nature and promote social and economic developments,
and to call attention to the beauty of a park which is for every one.
The presence of wolves, eagles, hawks and numerous other species of
animals are evident signs of the abundance of biological wealth which
is fundamental for nature's preservation.
